Problem: Spark
plugs keep fouling up - Fuel problem
Could be that your fuel tank
has microscopic particles of rust passing through the filter from the fuel
tank.
Solution
- removed
the fuel tank
- Take tank
to car wash (if you don't have the equipment at home) and give it a good
spray with the high pressure hose. Don't be surprised if you remove a
bucket load of rubbish
- Filled
tank with molasses and water and let it sit overnight, to make it more effective
this person hooked up the compressor and put the hose in it, giving it a
steady flow of air that circulated the water and molasses overnight
- Next day
empty the tank, and the drop a bucket load of bolts into it and shake it
for a while, cleaned it out, wash it out and put it back in the car
- Fit clean
or new spark plugs
- Take car
for a drive, if you still have problems then you know its
not your fuel tank
